1. Who we are

ArtistPromoter is an AI-powered dashboard for independent music artists, operated by SwitchKraft Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 12059376) with registered office at Ringwood Gardens, 7 Ringwood Gardens, London, England, E14 9WY. References to "we", "us", or "our" refer to SwitchKraft Ltd.

2. Data we collect

• Account data — handle, display name, email address (required, used as your login), and a password hashed with bcrypt.
• Artist content — releases, lyrics, press photos, bio, and brand information you enter or upload to the Service.
• Connected platform data — Instagram account profile, post history, engagement stats, and (where you authorise it) content we publish on your behalf via the Instagram Graph API; Spotify artist and track metadata fetched via the Spotify Web API.
• Usage data — AI-generated post suggestions, scheduled posts, campaign plans, tasks, events, and settings you configure within the Service.
• Compose inputs (transient) — when you use the Compose tool, any lyrics or emotion selections you submit are processed in-memory on our servers to generate a chord progression and are not stored, logged or shared. The resulting progression is returned to your browser and discarded server-side.

• To authenticate you and maintain your session
• To generate AI post suggestions using OpenAI (your content is sent to OpenAI's API)
• To analyse your music via Cyanite.ai (audio files are processed by their service)
• To store and display images via Cloudinary
• To read your Instagram post history and (when you schedule a post) publish on your behalf
• To read your Spotify artist and track metadata
• To send transactional emails (account, password reset, post-publish notifications) via Resend
• To send marketing emails (re-engagement nudges, onboarding tips, product updates) via Resend — you can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link in any such email or in your account Settings

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with any party other than the sub-processors listed below for the sole purpose of delivering the Service.

5. Data retention & deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time by emailing manupia@gmail.com from the email address registered to your account. We will permanently delete your account, all artist content you uploaded, all AI-generated suggestions, campaigns, tasks, events, cached Instagram posts, and connected-platform tokens within 30 days of receipt. Backups containing your data are purged within a further 30 days.

To revoke our app's access to your Instagram account independently of account deletion, you can also remove ArtistPromoter from your Instagram account settings: Instagram → Settings → Apps and websites → Active → Remove ArtistPromoter.

6. Cookies and sessions

We use a single HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies are set. No third-party scripts with tracking capabilities are loaded on authenticated pages.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, port, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email manupia@gmail.com.

8. Changes

We may update this Policy as the Service evolves. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.
